Lightbox for android

Lightbox for android,, Roughly three months after being introduced to the world during this year’s SXSW, Android Market’s latest head honcho in the photography category has finally shed its beta tag. Lightbox Photos for Android is now available in the Market for free. The developers don’t seem to have made any noticeable changes to the app since our review of its private beta. You can snap photos, apply photo filters, geotag and share photos over social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Foursquare), view photos from your social media accounts, major image hosting services and news networks, all through the same elegant user interface that governed the beta version.

The app automatically syncs with and downloads photos from mentioned networks/services, your Lightbox and social media accounts after regular intervals, allowing you to view them later without an active internet connection. This feature in particular, along with the aforementioned, makes Lightbox one of the best photo sharing, viewing and styling suites out there and an excellent replacement for both the stock camera and gallery application.

Here at AddictiveTips, it is already one of our favorite apps from the genre.

The following demo (featured on the app’s Android Market page) shows the app in action.
